1 lb ground beef (or beef & pork mix)
1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 cup mozzarella cubes (for stuffing)
2 cups marinara sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix ground meat, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it, place a mozzarella cube in the center, and roll into a ball. Repeat.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear meatballs on all sides until browned.
Transfer meatballs to a baking dish with marinara sauce.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked and cheese inside is melted.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
