Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 small onion finely diced
• 2 cloves garlic minced
• 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade taco seasoning)
• ½ cup tomato sauce
• 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 8 small flour tortillas
• 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh chopped cilantro for garnish

Optional Toppings 🥑
• Sour cream
• Diced tomatoes
• Shredded lettuce
• Jalapeños
• Salsa or guacamole

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.

3️⃣ Stir in garlic, taco seasoning, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.

4️⃣ Warm tortillas slightly so they’re pliable. Spoon beef mixture onto one side of each tortilla.

5️⃣ Sprinkle generously with shredded cheese. Fold over to form a pocket and press gently to seal.

6️⃣ Place on prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush tops with olive oil.

7️⃣ Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and crispy and cheese is melted.

8️⃣ Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with your favorite toppings.
