1 ½ pounds chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks
2 ripe peaches, sliced into wedges
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons peach preserves
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1–2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, peach preserves, soy sauce, honey, jalapeños, garlic, lime juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).
Thread the marinated chicken and peach slices alternately onto skewers.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Grill skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and lightly charred.
Brush with extra marinade during grilling for added glaze.
Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
