Dulce de Leche Tiramisu

Dulce-de-Leche-Tiramisu

A Creamy & Caramelized Twist on a Classic! 🍮☕

Ingredients

For the Cream Layer:
1 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
1 cup heavy whipping cream
½ cup dulce de leche (plus extra for drizzling)
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Espresso Layer:
1 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
For Assembly:
18-20 ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)
Cocoa powder (for dusting)
Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Mascarpone Cream
In a large bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, dulce de leche, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fluffy and well combined.
Step 2: Prepare the Coffee Mixture
Combine espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for 1-2 seconds (don’t oversoak!).
Step 3: Assemble the Tiramisu
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a dish (8×8-inch or similar).
Spread half of the mascarpone-dulce de leche cream over the ladyfingers.
Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining cream.
Drizzle extra dulce de leche on top for a rich caramel finish.
Step 4: Chill & Serve
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best for deep flavors!).
Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings.
Slice, serve, and enjoy every creamy, caramel-kissed bite! 🍮☕
