Chicken Caesar Smash Tacos – Tasty and Easy

Ingredients

For the Creamy Caesar Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, finely grated
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Salad
2–3 cups romaine lettuce, finely shredded
½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
For the Smash Tacos
1 lb (450g) ground chicken
1 tbsp chicken seasoning or Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
6–8 small flour tortillas
2–3 tbsp avocado oil

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
2️⃣ Prepare the Salad
Combine the shredded romaine lettuce, pepperoncini, and Parmesan cheese in a large bowl. Add half of the Caesar sauce and toss well. Set aside.
3️⃣ Season the Chicken
Mix the ground chicken with your seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
4️⃣ Assemble the Tacos
Lay the tortillas flat on a cutting board. Spread a thin layer of seasoned chicken over one side of each tortilla, covering it evenly.
5️⃣ Cook Until Crispy
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place each tortilla chicken-side down into the hot pan. Press gently with a spatula and cook for 3–4 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
Flip and cook the tortilla side for another 1 minute until lightly crispy.
6️⃣ Fill and Serve
Transfer the tacos to a plate. Fold slightly and fill with the Caesar salad mixture.
Serve with the remaining Caesar sauce on the side for dipping.
