Brew a cup of strong coffee and let it cool completely. For a quicker option, prepare the coffee ahead of time and refrigerate it until cold.
- Add the ingredients to a blender.Pour the chilled coffee and milk into the blender. Add the ice cubes, caramel sauce, sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream if using.
- Blend until smooth.Blend on high speed for 30–60 seconds, or until the ice is finely crushed and the drink has a thick, creamy consistency. If it’s too thick, add a splash of milk. For a thicker Frappuccino, add a few more ice cubes.
- Prepare the glass.Drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of a tall glass. Swirl the glass gently so the caramel creates attractive streaks along the sides.
- Pour the drink.Transfer the blended coffee mixture into the prepared glass. Leave a little room at the top for the whipped cream.
- Add the toppings.Finish with a generous swirl of whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce. For a sweet-and-salty twist, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt over the top.
- Serve immediately.Add a reusable straw or a long spoon and enjoy your homemade Caramel Frappuccino while it’s cold and frosty.
