Baked Italian Sub Sandwiches – Easy and Delicious

4 hoagie rolls or sub rolls
8 slices salami
8 slices pepperoni
8 slices ham or turkey
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup provolone cheese slices
¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup sliced pickles or pepperoncini
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp mayonnaise or Italian dressing (optional)
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
3️⃣ Layer salami, pepperoni, and ham evenly inside each roll.
4️⃣ Add red onion and pickles or pepperoncini for extra flavor.
5️⃣ Top generously with mozzarella and provolone cheese.
6️⃣ Drizzle olive oil over the sandwiches and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
7️⃣ Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is lightly toasted.
8️⃣ Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce and a drizzle of mayonnaise or Italian dressing if desired.
9️⃣ Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
