Easy and Delicious Apple & Honey Burrata Toast

Ingredients

For the Toast:

* 4 thick slices sourdough bread
* 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
* 1 garlic clove, halved
* 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
* 8 oz (225 g) burrata cheese

### For the Hot Honey Drizzle:

* 3 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
* 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
* 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
* 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

### For the Basil Finish:

* 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
* 1 tsp lemon zest
* 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
* 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

### For Garnish (optional):

* Fresh basil leaves
* Extra hot honey
* Flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
2. Brush both sides of the sourdough slices with the olive oil and toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
3. Rub the warm toast lightly with the cut side of the garlic clove.
4. In a small saucepan, gently warm the honey with the crushed red pepper flakes, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika for 2–3 minutes. Remove from the heat.
5. Tear the burrata into large pieces and spread it evenly over the toasted bread.
6. Arrange the peach slices over the burrata.
7. Drizzle generously with the warm hot honey.
8. Sprinkle with the torn basil, lemon zest, flaky sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
9. Garnish with extra basil leaves and an additional drizzle of hot honey if desired. Serve immediately.
