Easy Chicken Fajitas Recipe | Pan Weeknight Favourite

 Tools Needed

  • Large skillet or cast iron pan

  • Cutting board & knife

  • Mixing bowl

  • Tongs or spatula

  • Serving tray or platter (optional)

 Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) boneless chicken breast or thighs, sliced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 yellow or green bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 red onion, sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 2 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Warm flour tortillas, to serve

  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese, coriander

How to Make It

  1. Marinate Chicken
    In a bowl, mix oil, lime juice, and spices. Add sliced chicken and let marinate for 15–30 mins.

  2. Cook Chicken
    In a hot skillet, cook chicken until browned and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Set aside.

  3. Sauté Veggies
    In the same skillet, cook bell peppers and onions until slightly charred and tender.

  4. Combine & Serve
    Add chicken back to the pan, toss with veggies, and serve hot with warm tortillas and toppings.
