the Smash Burger Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

the Bowl Base

  • 4 cups chopped lettuce (romaine or iceberg)

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced

  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

 the Toppings

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)

  • Sesame seeds (optional, for burger flavor)

 the Burger Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

Prepare the Burger Sauce

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until smooth and set aside.

Cook the Smash Burger Meat

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add ground beef in portions and smash it flat using a spatula.

  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  4. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and browned.

  5. Break into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Prepare the Bowl Base

In serving bowls, add chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pickles, and red onions.

 Assemble the Smash Burger Bowl

  1. Add the cooked beef on top of the veggies.

  2. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles.

  3. Drizzle generously with burger sauce.

  4. Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds for that classic burger taste.

 Serve

Serve immediately while the beef is warm. Toss everything together before eating for the best flavor.
