1. Prepare the Shrimp
Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
In a bowl, combine the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. If you prefer a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch until smooth.
Heat a little olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer.
Sprinkle the shrimp with salt and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the shrimp begin turning pink.
Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp. Toss gently so all the shrimp are evenly coated.
Reduce the heat slightly and let the shrimp simmer in the sauce for 3–5 minutes, until fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Serve immediately while warm for the best flavor and texture.
