Ingredients

10 fresh jalapeños (halved and deseeded)

200g (7 oz) cream cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 ½ cups breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

How to Make It

Prep the Jalapeños
Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membranes. -
Make the Filling
Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and any extras. -
Fill the Jalapeños
Stuff each half with the cheese mixture. -
Coat the Poppers
Dip each popper in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crunch. -
Cook

Fry: Heat oil and fry poppers until golden and crisp (2–3 mins each side).

Bake: Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 mins.

Reheating:
Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 180°C (350°F) for 5–8 mins to keep them crispy. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
